Savannah Series

The African sun, catching tall, flowing gasses is one of my favourite sights. The creamy strands glow with golden light and any animal, regardless of Its colour, takes on the warm tones of the surrounding savannah, effortlessly blending in & becoming one with it.

With this new series, I have gone back to my roots with minimal sepia-like colouring but brought in some of those warmer tones and grassy textures in the background which have also been allowed to breathe through the body of the subject, emanating that sense of oneness.

As this series is about the relationship that wildlife have with their environment, their interaction with all elements of it, including birds, branches and other bush companions, have also become a point of interest for me.
